When Griffith and Turner failed he became the manager of 5 theatres in Baltimore, until he retired in 1934 at 65 years of age. He re-entered the work force at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and ultimately retired from Sam Patison and Company in 1962 at the age of 80. He died at the age of 89. The last 10 years of his life were spent in the home of his daughter. He was baptized at Pylesville, Harford County, Md.. He was born on 26 August 1882 at Pylesville, Harford County, Md; According to his son's birth certificate, Ned was 35 at the birth of his son, which could make his birth date 1880, not 1882. He married Mary Loretta Jamison, daughter of Richard Croxall Jamison and Kate Starkey, on 26 September 1914 at Immaculate Conception, Baltimore, Md; Married by Father Neck.
